The MORO Cotton Calculator provides various calculation options for oil mills, cotton traders, row cotton exporters, cotton grinders, and cotton seed crushers in India.

We know that different countries and even areas use different weight units for rates, so this is not a concern for anyone. You can alter the weight units of rates regardless of where you are from. Here is an illustration: CANDY equals 356 kg of lint weight in India, TON is 1000 kg elsewhere, etc. It can be substituted for costs, raw cotton, cotton seed, and lint in addition to lint. All of these settings can be adjusted in the SETTINGS section, along with the weight unit of rate for the oil mills.

Row cotton exports, ICE parity calculations, and a reliable conversion chart are all possible with the MORO Cotton Calculator. All conversions of import rates and expenses are emphasized. Here are the FIVE conversions that were used to determine what raw cotton’s equivalent rate was.

1. Punjab Maund rate to the Indian Candy rate and vice versa.

2. MCX Cotton Bale rate to Indian Candy rate

3. Pakistan cotton rate to Indian cotton rate and vice versa

4. Chinese cotton rate to Indian cotton rate and vice versa

5.US cents per LB rate to Indian Candy rate and vice versa

Ginning

Cotton is harvested from the plant as seed cotton (kapas), and before the fibers can be utilized for anything, they must be separated from the seed. This process of separation is referred to as ginning.” It is the first mechanical process cotton goes through. Given how strongly the fibers adhere to the seed’s surface, it takes some force to separate them. The fibers are likely to be ripped irregularly and lose their texture if this force isn’t altered in some way. In light of the fact that any damage to the fibers at this point cannot be repaired later, ginning is not only a necessary but also a significant step in the use of cotton. In this modern era, there are many cotton ginning calculators are available that can do your job very easily.

Quality of Cotton

  • Since the quality of the yarn from which a fiber is woven largely determines the quality of the fibre, in turn, the quality of the yarn is determined by the qualities of the fibres from which it is spun. A significant consideration is the raw cotton’s quality, which is often determined by the fiber’s physical properties.
  • Cotton has a lot of characteristics that make it a good textile fibre. Its dominance as a raw material for textiles is largely a result of its adaptability for a variety of end uses. The staple length is a key indicator of cotton quality.
